Zero Waste Challenge

Zero Waste Challenge

Article écrit par Alexandra Arion, 3.5

For the past few months, the classes of 3.1, 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5 have been working on a very interesting and important project : going zero waste.

Indeed, every year, millions of tons of trash are sent to the landfills or to the incinerators, which is a huge problem for the environment.

A few years ago, Be a Johnson, a French woman who lives in America, created this zero waste lifestyle. This lifestyle aims at reducing as much as possible our own waste, in order to make a gesture for the planet.

Of course, completely stopping producing waste is very hard when you don’t know what to start with, that’s why the class of 3.5 prepared around 20 challenges to help you gradually reduce your garbage. All the different challenges are exhibited in Mrs Lemesle’s classroom, and you can write your name on the different posters once you’ve achieved them.

You can also follow our Instagram (zerowaste.challenge) or our Snapchat (zwastechallenge) accounts to see the students’ achievements.
